James Corden, back in the UK after years in the U.S., faces opposition from neighbors over his plan to build a substantial outhouse in his garden. Complaints cite concerns about noise, particularly from his children and a drum set, which could be amplified by the new structure. Neighbors have labeled the plans as unreasonable and intrusive, worrying about their quiet green space becoming overshadowed. Corden's building plans include a gym, kitchen, sauna, and a terrace, provoking fears over loss of garden views and aesthetic disruption.
One of them plays the drums, which can often be heard on my terrace and occasionally inside my flat even with the windows closed. What happens if they decide to move the drum kit out of the house and put it in the den?
This new structure threatens not just to intrude on this peaceful green space but to constitute an eyesore.
It is highly intrusive, standing one metre from neighbours' boundaries.
Remove the word gym from the plan and replace it with bedroom and you'd have a nice little bungalow.
