Making friends as an adult requires creativity and intentionality to overcome loneliness and improve well-being.
A state judge has ruled that every red-light ticket written to a cyclist under the state's vehicle and traffic law since 2019 is bogus. The city legalized the practice of biking through a red light on a pedestrian 'walk' signal, yet NYPD cops have been wrongly writing tickets for cyclists who go through the 'red' on the walk signal.

They were right. If you've been around interscholastic sports long enough, you can sense trouble. The real problem arrived in the fourth quarter, when two players tackled each other at half court. Coaches and teammates rushed in, and one boy appeared to kick the player from the opposing team. Security and administrators broke up the tussle, but this time parents made it to the center of the action.

Tense relationships with neighbors really do make a lot of people miserable, and it makes sense that she'd want to avoid pissing off people who live within shouting distance and are apparently pretty combative.
Dear Eric: My youngest son is in his mid-40s. He had some heavy mental issues a few years ago and moved back home to our basement. Prior to the breakdown, his wife left him, he lost a job he loved, and soon he started dating Leslie.
