A 14-year-old boy was one of three arrested after a double stabbing in Metcalfe Court, Greenwich. The incident occurred near Bugsby's Way, with a 14-year-old and an 18-year-old sustaining injuries assessed as non-life-threatening. Local authorities have charged a boy, a 21-year-old man, and a 25-year-old man with wounding with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm. Superintendent Nick Jowett condemned the violence, assuring the community of a heightened police presence as the investigation continues, urging anyone with information to come forward.
This is a senseless and shocking act of violence and my thoughts are with the family, friends of those injured and the community at this incredibly difficult time.
Officers acted quickly and we have arrested one boy and two men who remain in custody as we work at pace to investigate.
