Oisin Lenehan, a 29-year-old Australian expatriate from Belfast, faced embarrassment after accidentally ordering Uber Eats to a Dublin address while in Melbourne, 9,600 miles away. Lenehan intended to treat his friends to a $65 takeaway meal but ended up with a mix-up when he realized the order was meant for a prior night out. Thankfully, he received a full refund and had to explain the situation to customer service as his friends recorded the humorous moment, which went viral on TikTok with over 500,000 views.
"I was absolutely gutted," Oisin Lenehan, 29, told Jam Press while recounting the international meal mixup.
"My heart just dropped because we were hungry and we were going to have to go through the whole process again of deciding where to order and what we wanted."
