Dishoom, a renowned Indian restaurant chain from London known for its unique ambiance and diverse menu, is reportedly nearing a location for a New York City restaurant set to open in 2026. Chief executive Brian Trollip expressed excitement about the prospective opening and their ongoing site search in major U.S. cities. With the success of their pop-up in NYC last summer, the expansion reflects growing interest in Indian cuisine in the city, potentially mirroring the popularity of their London locations.
"I was in New York last week looking at the site, and we're very much hoping to get an offer in pretty soon," CEO Brian Trollip said.
"All of us really, really love New York, and I think we sort of settled on that, so if we can get that off the ground, we'll be really excited."
"The atmosphere is guaranteed to be buzzy, the menu authentic but varied enough to suit almost all tastes and it's a great experience whether you're alone or with the whole family."
