The Team Behind The Hand and Flowers Is Opening a Pub in Chelsea
Briefly

Tom Kerridge's Chelsea pub, The Butcher's Tap & Grill, is being rebranded as The Chalk Freehouse, under the leadership of Tom De Keyser, who previously worked at The Hand and Flowers. The new gastropub will celebrate British cuisine with an exciting three-course menu and a Sunday roast of 30-day dry-aged rib of beef. Guests can enjoy a selection of wines and beers, including a unique cask special each month, while the venue continues the legacy of high-quality pub dining championed by Kerridge.
"I'm so excited to be taking on the next stage of my career within the Tom Kerridge Group and opening a new site. Tom has taught me so much about proper gastropub dining and what it is to create truly brilliant food within the context of a pub menu - I can't wait to bring everything I've learned to Chelsea for The Chalk Freehouse."
The Chalk Freehouse will serve a three-course menu of British gastropub fare, featuring dishes such as cheese & onion scone with whipped mustard, and chicken & duck liver parfait.
