Layla Bakery has created a strong following in Ladbroke Grove, known for its variety of baked goods like sourdough and pastries. Founder Tessa Faulkner is launching a second location in Acton, aimed at providing a neighborhood bakery experience similar to the original. The new venue will prioritize takeaway, but will offer seating for patrons. As with the original site, it will collaborate with local suppliers. Familiar menu items will be available, alongside some exclusive offerings for the Acton area.
Like in Notting Hill, the bakery will be partnering with Assembly Coffee, Good & Proper Tea, Estate Dairy, Original Beans Chocolate and Natoora.
The menu will feature many Layla signatures, with a few exclusives added for Acton locals.
Tessa Faulkner said, 'Friends who've moved to the area often say Acton is missing a neighbourhood spot like Layla.'
The Acton outpost of Layla will be very familiar to fans of the original.
