Gusto, an Italian restaurant in Gidea Park, has submitted a pavement licence application to Havering Council. Owned by Fitim Driza and Jess Krasniqi, the restaurant opened in April 2022 after converting from the former Breakfast Lunch & Kitchen Cafe, which closed in 2017. The transformation involved numerous planning submissions to the council, including a prior failed request for an extension on opening hours. If approved, the pavement licence will permit outdoor dining for customers, supporting the family-run business's growth and customer service enhancement.
Owners Fitim Driza and Jess Krasniqi transformed Gusto from its previous use as Breakfast Lunch & Kitchen Cafe, a process that was extremely difficult until their opening.
If successful, the pavement licence application will allow Gusto BLK to serve food and drink outside, enhancing customer experience at the family-run establishment.
