Recent refurbishments of five London pubs, reported by Newsquest London, have brought significant changes to enhance customer experience. The Albion in Rainham underwent a six-figure refurbishment, adding both indoor and outdoor seating. Meanwhile, The Ardleigh in Hornchurch gave its bar a contemporary facelift, while The Thatched House in Upminster improved its beer garden and lighting. Yates in Romford featured a revitalized look with new entertainment and a wider selection of products, alongside engaging community events. Each bar aims to attract more customers through modernized aesthetics and improved facilities.
The pub is part of the Ember Inns chain, with the works carried out to give the space a "brighter, more contemporary aesthetic" according to a spokesperson.
Since the change, pub chain Vintage Inns has revealed that customers have been enjoying its beer garden, additional seating and improved lighting.
The chain called the revamp a revitalising transformation, which included a pool table, new entertainment and a wider selection of products.
A picture of the newly updated garden shows significant improvements in the internal decor, as well as extra indoor and outdoor seating.
