A substantial blaze engulfed a warehouse on Mollison Avenue in Enfield, visible across north London, triggering approximately 45 emergency calls. The fire erupted at 8:05 PM on June 21, and firefighters managed to bring it under control by 12:38 AM the following morning. Authorities advised local residents to keep their windows and doors shut due to smoke inhalation risks. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries, but the cause of the fire remains under investigation by the relevant authorities.
Around 45 calls were made from people concerned as the fire was visible from lots of different areas around north London.
Firefighters worked hard to extinguish the blaze and it was under control by 12.38am today (June 22).
People in the area were advised to keep their windows and doors closed as smoke covered a lot of Enfield.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
