An alleged victim of PhD student Zhenhao Zou, accused of drugging and raping ten women, shared her experiences in a social media post to warn others. She described how Zou, who appeared initially harmless, plied her with alcohol and assaulted her in his flat after restraining her. The court heard details of her traumatic experience, including a video recording of her 999 call following the incident. Although she hesitated to engage with authorities, she eventually sought to alert other potential victims, illustrating the importance of awareness about such predatory behavior.
In a warning to others, a victim of Zhenhao Zou described him as a "pervert and a dirty man" in a social media post regarding her assault.
The victim recalled Zou's harmless facade, stating he continuously gave her alcohol before she lost consciousness, waking up without memory of the attack.
She also mentioned feeling distressed during the assault, crying on the floor, and that Zou had dragged her back when she attempted to leave.
Despite initially not wanting to pursue the investigation for her mental health, she shared her experiences on WeChat and Little Red Book.
