A woman has died after being rescued from a burning flat in Shadwell. Firefighters from the London Ambulance Service were called with reports of a fire at a residential block in Glamis Road on April 19.
The woman was taken to the hospital where she has now died. The report came in at 3.44 pm, with firefighters successfully extinguishing the fire in the ground-floor flat by 4.58 pm.
