Woman, 18, died from overdose of unknown drug, court is told

An inquest into the death of 18-year-old Imogen Deacon was opened at East London Coroner's Court after she reportedly died from an overdose.

Coroner Dr Shirley Radcliffe noted that Deacon suffered an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest after a significant overdose before she was pronounced deceased.

The cause of death is currently unascertained pending toxicology reports, which raises concerns about the circumstances of her unnatural death.
