The council has voted to start design works to extend pavements, lighting, seating and green spaces on Davies Street, James Street, as well as Grosvenor Square.
Temporary footpaths introduced during Covid along James Street will also be made permanent and there will be upgrades to paths along Picton Place, Barrett Street and Bird Street.
