Weather improves for final Christmas travel dash
Briefly

Weather conditions across the UK are improving as Christmas approaches, easing travel disruptions caused by strong winds and lifting many weather warnings.
After a weekend of strong winds that caused significant flight cancellations and rail delays, the travel situation looks far more manageable for the final Christmas rush.
The Met Office has predicted a 'grey Christmas' for most of the UK, with extremely mild temperatures expected to rule out any possibility of a white Christmas.
Temperatures are forecasted to rise considerably leading up to Christmas Day, with average temperatures reaching around 11C to 13C in England and Wales.
