Two-hour house fire in New Malden under investigation

A fire at a two-storey house in New Malden on September 20 saw four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackle the blaze that severely damaged parts of the ground and first floors, as well as destroying a conservatory. Responding crews managed to bring the incident under control by 11:52 AM, although the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
London Fire Brigade reported that they received the first call about the fire at 10:00 AM. The fire escalated rapidly, causing significant damage before fire crews could bring it under control within less than two hours. A spokesperson highlighted the collaborative effort from multiple fire stations to manage the incident effectively.
