A three-roomed flat on the first floor of the three-storey building was mostly destroyed by fire, and a further three-roomed flat on the second floor was partially destroyed by fire.
There are currently no reports of any injuries.
The road was blocked both ways between Wood Lane and Sunnymead Road, with both the 83 and 302 diverted. Traffic to both Blackbird Hill and further into Kingsbury was not too badly affected.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
