A cyclist has been left fighting for life after a collision with a van in South London, leading to the driver’s arrest on multiple charges.
The 50-year-old van driver was arrested on suspicion of causing serious personal injury by dangerous driving and failing to stop at the accident.
Police stated the collision occurred around 10:30 PM at the junction of Tooting Bec Road and Franciscan Road, with ongoing investigations into the incident.
Detectives from the Met's Roads and Transport Policing Command are actively looking for witnesses or dash cam footage to assist with the investigation.
