Three taken to hospital after fleeing house fire in Dagenham

In Dagenham, a fire broke out in a semi-detached house on New Road early in the morning, prompting a swift response from emergency services. Firefighters arrived shortly after the incident was reported at approximately 1.16 am and found that three residents had already evacuated the structure, though they required medical attention and were transported to a hospital. Efforts to extinguish the fire involved six fire engines and around 40 firefighters, with the situation under control by 2.17 am. The ground floor of the home sustained damage, while the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
