Ethan Veiro, 26, stole a car, bicycle, cash and other items in a series of raids on December 25, 2022. He was pursued from Ilford and finally cornered when he drove onto the M11 with specialist Met teams blocking his exit and arrested him.
Sergeant Adam Sparrow, investigating officer, said: We know the damaging effect burglaries can have to individuals and communities which is why in our A New Met for London plan we're working to reduce this type of crime across London.
