The road where 85pc of drivers were found speeding is to get new safety measures

Havering Council has proposed a set of crash prevention steps for Havering Road, including raised crossings and speed tables, after a study found 85% of vehicles speeding on the road.

Study revealed most cars exceeded 30mph speed limit on Havering Road, with 30 recorded personal injury accidents in a five-year period, leading to approved safety measures by the council.
