Teen among two arrested as man injured after crowbar attack in Mile End

A man in his 40s was assaulted with a crowbar in Mile End, suffering non-life threatening head injuries, and was later discharged from the hospital.
Two individuals, a man in his 30s and a 16-year-old, were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm following the assault that occurred on January 7.
Metropolitan Police received reports of the assault around 5.40pm and responded with ambulance services to assist the victim in Eric Street.
Authorities have confirmed that the investigation into the assault is ongoing while the two suspects remain in custody.
