Teen accused of horror Beckenham train stabbing appears in court

A teenager has appeared in court accused of attempting to murder a man by stabbing him on a train between Beckenham Junction and Shortlands railway stations.
One man, in his 20s, was taken to hospital and police said on Thursday (March 28) that he is in a 'critical but stable condition'.
Rakeem Thomas, 19, from Beckenham, is charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
The case was sent to the Old Bailey where Thomas will appear for a hearing on April 26.
