Mussie Imnetu, a Swedish chef critically injured at the Notting Hill Carnival, was attacked shortly after leaving a Dubai club, prompting a police investigation.
Det Ch Insp Brian Howie stated, "While the arrest of a suspect is a significant step in our investigation, we are still very keen to hear from anyone who can help piece together Mussie's movements between when he left the Arts Club at 13:00 and when he arrived at Dr Power restaurant at 22:30." This plea emphasizes the police's desire for community assistance in reconstructing the events leading to the attack.
Police reported that Mr Imnetu was discovered unconscious with a serious head injury near Dr Power restaurant, which was bustling due to carnival festivities, highlighting the chaotic nature of the location at the time.
The Met Police encouraged anyone who witnessed the incident or was at Dr Power restaurant, particularly between 22:00 and 23:30, to reach out with any information, emphasizing community involvement in resolving the case.
