Step back in time as iconic London stations set to launch historic railway tours
Briefly

Network Rail is conducting guided tours at key London train stations—London Bridge, Victoria, and Waterloo—highlighting their historical significance. Led by historian Rachel Kolsky, the tours will delve into stories from multiple stations and their evolution over time. London Waterloo, which opened in 1848, is noted for its historical richness and previous role as a gateway for Eurostar travelers. The extended histories will also cover London Victoria's glamorous reputation and London Bridge's transformation into a modern transport hub. Tours will start on May 3, 8, and 15, 2023, with tickets available on Eventbrite.
"London Waterloo is steeped in history, and a glimpse of this is available in the old international terminal with a series of vinyl plaques."
"This tour will expand on that snapshot of its 177-year history, providing an inspirational tale of how the railway grew and adapted over its lifetime."
