Six people taken to hospital after crash between car and bus in Norwood

A serious collision occurred on January 30, 2023, involving a car and a bus on Norwood High Street. At approximately 5pm, emergency services, including officers and the London Ambulance Service, were dispatched to the scene. A total of 10 individuals received treatment on-site for various injuries, with six required to be taken to the hospital for further care. The incident caused temporary road blockages and diversions for buses, particularly route 432 towards Anerley, but all disturbances were resolved later that day.

Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 17:09hrs on Thursday, 30 January to reports of a collision involving a car and a bus.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: We were called at 5.03pm today to reports of a road traffic collision in Norwood High Street.
Norwood High Street was partially blocked in both directions and the 432 towards Anerley was diverted. However, all closures have since been lifted.
