Briefly

A 51-year-old man has been left seriously injured after an early morning stabbing on a major east London road.
At this early stage we retain an open mind concerning motive and there have been no arrests.
We sent resources to the scene, including Ambulance Crews, an incident response officer, and members of our tactical response unit.
Pictures from the scene showed a police cordon in place close to the junction with Cremer Street, which leads towards Hoxton Overground station.
