The 49-second video which is doing the rounds on social media shows a group of people involved in a tussle which starts on platform three. The footage continues to capture the brawl which then sees some people in the group move over to platform four.
The fight carries on between two men, one in a grey shirt and the other in a black jacket, who appear to be throwing punches at each other. Some can be heard screaming as one of the men nearly falls over the platform and onto the tracks.
A man in a grey shirt then circles between the platforms with other commuters trying to intervene. It ends with the man jumping around while attempting to push away the people trying to stop him.
Officers were called to Abbey Wood railway station at 23.59pm on Saturday (20 April) following reports of a fight on the platform. Officers attended alongside paramedics and one woman was treated at the scene for a head injury.
