Nuria Sajjad and Selena Lau were struck by a vehicle while celebrating at school. Initially, the driver faced no further action due to an epileptic seizure, which was cited as a cause. However, an internal review prompted further exploration into the incident, leading to renewed police inquiries. Detective Superintendent Lewis Basford urged any witnesses to come forward to aid the investigation.
The driver, arrested again after the crash that killed two schoolgirls, was earlier told no further action would be taken as the incident was deemed an accident.
