With a whiff in the air of cannabis, I was lucky enough to find myself in the Chapel where the Mango dancers were preparing to depart, and they welcomed me in.
I have been to carnival many times in London and I have to say, it did not seem so crowded this year.
I started at the beginning and followed it right to the end, and there wasn't a single incident, with everybody just out to dance and laugh and have a good time.
Do take some earplugs with you, otherwise you'll be in for a shock.
