Police were called to the station in Upney Lane yesterday (January 15) at 6.27pm to reports of a casualty on the tracks. Medics took the person to hospital, where their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
A British Transport Police (BTP) spokesperson stated, 'Officers were called to Upney underground station at 6.27pm yesterday (January 15) to reports of a casualty on the tracks.' The incident is not being treated as suspicious.
