Passengers can board some trains early in bid to tackle 'Euston rush'
Briefly

Transport Secretary Louise Haigh stated that the passenger experience at Euston has not been good enough, which prompted immediate changes to reduce overcrowding and improve standards.
Overcrowding levels at Euston have been alarming, as highlighted by London TravelWatch, where last-minute announcements have led to unsafe rushing onto platforms, endangering passenger safety.
To address these concerns, a new system allows two in every five Avanti West Coast services to be boarded 20 minutes prior to departure, aiming to ease congestion.
Immediate improvements, including the shutdown of advertising boards and plans for enhanced concourse space and upgraded toilets, are being implemented to enhance the passenger experience at Euston.
