Sadiq Khan hinted at London's Overground rebranding back in March 2023, officially confirming the changes in February, with the rollout starting on November 20.
TfL stated the rebrand aims to facilitate navigation of the London Overground and to celebrate the diverse communities of London, enhancing customer experience.
The newly named lines, such as the Lioness line and the Windrush line, reflect significant cultural and historical contributions, promoting awareness across the city's heritage.
The design changes roll out across the Overground stations by November 25, aiming to improve visibility and accessibility as well as honor London's rich history.
