Men rearrested over 2017 unsolved murder probe

Jah family Two men have been rearrested on suspicion of murder in connection with a stabbing more than seven years ago. Ahmed Deen-Jah, 24, was stabbed in the heart in what police said was an unprovoked attack in a convenience store in Custom House, east London, in April 2017.
CCTV released at the time showed Mr Deen-Jah being followed into a shop by a person wearing a balaclava and gloves, who chased him around before stabbing him. A post-mortem examination held at East Ham Mortuary on 4 April 2017 gave the cause of death as a stab wound to the heart.
On the fifth anniversary of his death, police offered a 20,000 reward for information leading to the killer. Met Police Det Ch Insp Kelly Allen, who is leading the investigation, said officers were "determined to identify those responsible in order to place them before a court."
