Burton remembers his excitement at taking the shot: he immediately knew that he had captured something unusual.
Burton is happy, though, for others to interpret the image as they wish. Maybe they see Hopper, or a spaceship, or maybe they see something else.
There is a feeling of the surreal to it and an odd sense of anticipation, Burton says.
