Joseph Nicholls, 43, from Sidcup, was given a suspended jail sentence of 10 months for sharing a Facebook post urging damage to Ulez cameras, plus 18 weeks for a threatening email.
Recorder Andrew Hammond emphasized that although the case relates to Ulez, it fundamentally concerns the rule of law and the right to work without intimidation.
Prosecutor Charles Evans stated that Nicholls' actions aimed to cause distress, while the discovery of Ulez camera components at his home linked him to a wider vandalism movement.
Defense barrister Claire Cooper argued that Nicholls personally never vandalized Ulez cameras and suggested parts found at his house were introduced by other anti-Ulez activists.
