Emergency services responded at 12.33am on July 6 to a hit and run crash involving a car and a cyclist in Whitechapel.
Matheus Piovesan, a 36-year-old Brazilian national, was killed after being struck by a car that failed to stop at the scene.
Following the incident, three men were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, though they were later released on bail.
Authorities are seeking witnesses and dash cam footage of the incident to aid in their investigation into the tragic crash.
