A man has died and a woman is in the hospital following a two-car collision in Brampton, which occurred just after midnight Sunday on Gorewood Drive.
Emergency responders arrived shortly after the incident at 12:30 a.m. and found a man with life-threatening injuries; he later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
The woman involved in the collision was also taken to the hospital, but the extent of her injuries remains unknown as investigations continue.
The Peel Regional Police major collision bureau is overseeing the investigation, which remains ongoing in the aftermath of the tragic incident.
