A man has been arrested in Aylesbury on suspicion of murdering Kulsuma Akter, 27, who was stabbed multiple times while pushing her baby in a pram in Bradford city center. The police had launched a four-day manhunt following the incident.
Despite the efforts of onlookers and a passing doctor, Ms. Akter was pronounced dead in the hospital. Shopkeeper Geo Khan and others tried to assist her, but tragically, she couldn't be saved.
West Yorkshire Police and Greater Manchester Police have referred themselves to the Independent Office for Police Conduct over previous contact with the victim. Another man has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
