Detectives arrested a 47-year-old man in connection with the crossbow attacks in east London. The victims, a woman hit in the head and a man wounded in the neck, had non-life-threatening injuries.
I'm acutely aware of the level of concern in the community following these awful attacks. Since the first incident, the police response has been immeasurable, and we are keeping an open mind regarding the motive for these attacks.
