A man was arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon after a video which appeared to show a cyclist wielding a knife near a park. The man, 25, was also arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs and remains in custody.
A video shared on social media showed a man wielding a large knife near Middleton Green Park, leading to concerns about public safety. The man was not associated with Deliveroo despite wearing their jacket.
