Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters tackled a maisonette fire on Lensbury Way in Abbey Wood. Two women left the building before fire crews arrived, with half of the second floor ablaze.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation. Fire crews from Plumstead, Greenwich, Deptford, Brixton, Lee Green and Eltham attended the scene.
