Illegal sweets, cereal, and crisps set to be incinerated after Oxford Street American candy store raid
Briefly

The recent raid resulted in the confiscation of over 600 items, including popular snacks, due to illegal sales of unlabelled products that pose health risks.
Westminster Council has been actively enforcing regulations against traders selling banned sweets, with over 2,374 non-compliant products destroyed within the last three months alone.
Cllr Adam Hug stated that pressure is being put on unscrupulous traders, promising further raids as an effort to deter illegal sales of harmful products.
This shop’s previous offenses included selling carcinogenic American sweets like Swedish Fish and Hot Tamales, which are banned in the UK for children's health safety.
