Police have launched an investigation after a gunshot struck the back window of a taxi reportedly carrying Private Eye editor Ian Hislop. Despite the shocking incident, both he and the taxi driver escaped unharmed.
The cab driver described being stuck in traffic when suddenly a shot was fired towards his vehicle. Fortunately, the window was the only casualty, highlighting the random nature of such violent acts.
