Fulham 'chemical incident': Man taken to hospital after reports of hazardous materials at flat

Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters responded to a chemical incident at a block of flats in Fulham, evacuating residents and treating one man taken to the hospital.
Station Commander Graham Crow described it as a protracted incident, with crews present for several hours, causing a cordon to be placed around the property and advising motorists to avoid the area.
The incident started at 12.35am and ended by 5.56am, involving fire crews from various stations. Investigation is underway to determine the cause of the incident.
