Electric buses to join new shuttle bus service from Greenwich to east London

As part of the 1.4km tunnel construction, a new shuttle bus service will be introduced along with a dedicated bus lane, in a bid to reduce congestion at the Blackwall Tunnel.
Stagecoach, the UK's largest bus and coach operator, will supply a new fleet of electronic vehicles to help tackle congestion and air pollution in the capital.
Paul Lynch, Managing Director for Stagecoach London, said: It is fantastic that Stagecoach can help expand the ways the local community connect to what matters most to them.
