Double arson probe launched after two Bromley homes destroyed in fires
Briefly

An investigation is underway into two separate house fires in Bromley that occurred less than 300 metres apart, raising suspicions of potential arson.
The first fire occurred at Plaistow Lane, where significant damage to the first and ground floors left the house partially destroyed, luckily with no reported injuries.
Later that evening, another fire was reported on Orchard Road, resulting in complete destruction of the first floor and significant damage to the ground floor.
Metropolitan Police are keeping an open mind regarding a possible connection between the two fires and are appealing for information from the public.
