A heartfelt incident occurred in West Hampstead, where a dog tragically died after being rescued from a house fire that devastated a two-storey terraced home. On February 3, at around 10:31 am, emergency services responded with eight fire engines and approximately 60 firefighters. Despite their efforts to save the dog using breathing apparatus and resuscitation techniques, it could not survive. The cause of the fire remains under investigation as firefighters managed to control the flames by 11:36 am, although the ground and first floors of the house were severely damaged.
Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters were called to a house fire on Barlow Road in West Hampstead. Despite valiant attempts to resuscitate the dog, it passed away at the scene.
