Scott, who crashed his VW Polo into Buckingham Palace gates, caused damage exceeding £24,000 and admitted to charges of criminal damage at the Magistrates' Court.
Despite the serious nature of the incident, District Judge Annabel Pilling suggested Scott is likely to receive a community-based penalty rather than incarceration.
The court was informed that no members of the Royal Family were present at the palace at the time of the crash, mitigating potential concerns.
Scott appeared fidgety and dazed post-incident which led to his immediate arrest by armed officers stationed at the iconic landmark.
