Yostin Andres Mosquera, a 34-year-old Colombian national, has been charged with the murders of Albert Alfonso and Paul Longworth, whose bodies were found in suitcases.
During a court appearance, Mosquera confirmed his identity through a Spanish interpreter and was remanded in custody awaiting trial.
The trial judge, Mr Justice Bennathan KC, reset the provisional trial date from April 14 to April 29, with a plea hearing scheduled for November 25.
The discovery of the suitcases containing the remains of the two victims has drawn significant attention to this crime, which occurred over a few days in July.
